The idea behind the logo is the ever broadening ripples of the water when a pebble is thrown into it. EFNA being the stone and the ripples being the growing importance of its work and the reaching out of the patients into Europe.
Moreover, the EFNA  logo (spiral)  is an ancient Celtic symbol for "eternity" and can be traced back to the neolithic period.
